Crossville is known as the Golf Capital of Tennessee, and it comes by that name honestly.

Home to many championship-level golf courses, Crossville hosts dozens and dozens of golf tournaments each year, and not just at the local level. The city now plays host to three state championship events – the Tennessee Senior Men’s Golf Championship, held at Stonehenge in Fairfield Glade; the prestigious Tennessee Women’s Open Golf Championship, also held at Stonehenge; and the Tennessee Team Golf Championship, held at Lake Tansi.

The state championship are just a sampling of the great golf played in Cumberland County each year, and you can keep up with what’s going on right here.
