Free Tennessee Vacation Guides for the taking

By Don Napier

I have always enjoyed looking at the Tennessee Vacation Guides. It is a thick catalog/magazine published by the Tennessee Tourism Department. They do one every year. It is divided into three travel regions: West, Middle and East. It is filled with maps, stories, photographs about Outdoors & Nature, Music & Culture, History & Heritage, Festivals and Celebrations, and Trails & Byways.

We have helped distribute Tourism Guide’s in the past, but the opportunity to do so this year, was aided by my niece, Melanie Napier Beauchamp, who is the Public Relations Media Manager for the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development.

Travel GuideThe official 2013 Tennessee Vacation Guide (pictured here) is a joy to read. It will easily give you an hour of enjoyment as you read about the great state of Tennessee and what each community has to offer. A complete guide of what to do and where to go is just a small part of what this guide provides you with.

Accommodations, festivals, events and attractions are listed by region, and by city. It is the perfect vacation or weekend getaway guide. Looking for Bed & Breakfasts? You can find them listed here, by city.
